Immediately after showing a video in a sales meeting, summarize the video and review the main ideas. Better still, question the audience. Ask for a summary from one of the people in attendance. Discuss the major points that were covered. Above all, explain how the information affects the individual.
Tell them how they can apply it to their work. Let everyone know what they are expected to do as a result of seeing the video.
Application of the ideas expressed in the video is the thing to shoot for. Like any other portion of a sales meeting, If the video doesn’t get action for you, it’s been a waste of time.
